There is 10 days until Christmas. While your advent calendars are getting emptier and your list seems to only get longer, there is no need to panic. The trick is to maximize your time and find someone to take your holiday worries away. Last weekend, I dropped by Hillcrest Mall for some holiday shopping and Santa photos with the children.
This year, Hillcrest Mall is offering Santa photos for everyone with a pet night as all as “Quiet TIme with Santa.” Autism Ontario’s York Region Chapter and Hillcrest Mall hosted Quiet Time with Santa to support of children with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) where the lights were lowered and other stimuli subdued to make a more comfortable, enjoyable atmosphere for children and parents.
The mall is also channeling their holiday spirit of giving bringing back Toy Mountain for the 20th year where shoppers can donate new, unwrapped toys at the Toy Mountain drop-off located next to Santa. And for the little ones, ZaZaZoo rides have come to the mall to give children the chance to ride around on large plus animals.
Be sure to also drop by the Centre Court Holiday Lounge to six back, relax and snap a few pictures with the family during the holiday season.
