The first annual Toronto Men’s Fashion Week (TOM*) launched last month at the Fairmount Royal York Hotel. Featuring some of the best Canadian and international designers, TOM* celebrated the best in menswear fashion. This jam packed week was filled with runway presentations of renowned designers and a-list after parties filled with stylish men.
Toronto Men’s Fashion Week also collaborated with Men’s Fashion4Hope to help raise money and awareness for the Kol Hope Foundation for Children and the SickKids Hospital. On the second night of TOM*, they presented a celebrity fashion show in collaboration with GOTSTYLE to help raise money for this philanthropic initiative.
Toronto Men’s Fashion Week also showcased some of the new and emerging innovations in wearable technology. Presented by “We Are Wearable’s”, this Digital Lounge was an interactive space for men to explore wearable tech, mobile applications and 3D printing including such innovative products as Martian Smart Watches, Bionym Nymi wearable wristband and the Myo Armband presented by Thalmic Labs that allows you to control your devised remotely.
In between runway shows, guests also had the chance to browse through their pop-up shop which housed the latest trends in menswear including Yo Sox, Mankind Grooming Salon, Just Sultan and much, much more!
With three full nights of fashion shows, and over twenty designers, TOM* presented some of the exciting up and coming trends in menswear. Check out some of the most interesting designs from the opening night’s line up!
