Spring has sprung and that means you can shake up the flavours that you’re using to bring out the season’s light floral and fruity tones. As you’ve probably noticed from my articles over the holidays, I love to host parties. So it’s always fun to find new drinks that I can use to shake things up a bit. Perrier, the zero calories and zero sugar drink, has recently launched their new flavoured water that is infused with orange essence to give it a refreshing and bubbly taste. Adding to their repertoire of fruity alternatives, you can now include Perrier L’Orange to their specialty flavour collection that already consisted of lemon, lime and pink grapefruit. So today, I’ve decided to share with you my new favourie cocktail recipe for Spring! Stir up a batch yourself, and tell me what you think! Perrier L’Orange Gin Fizz
- Ice (as needed)
- 2 ounces gin
- 2 table spoons of fresh lemon juice
- ¼ of an orange, cut into two wedges
- 1 tablespoon of simple syrup
- ¼ cup of Perrier L’Orange
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the gin, lemon juice, orange wedges and simple syrup. Cover and shake well and strain into an ice-filled highball glass. Top with Perrier L’Orange and serve immediately.
