Angelo’s Coal Fire Pizza

Originating from the Boston area, Angelo’s Coal Fire Pizza has made its way to Toronto. In a city of Italian restaurants and pizza lovers, Angelo’s is the first of its kind to make pizza in a coal-fire oven. Their new spot is located just across from the St. Lawrence Market with a large interior complete with a bar and ample table seating for the whole family. Owner Joe Rizzo and Canadian partner Jose Geada have brought their much loved menu north of the boarder.
The menu is filled with generous portions of family style dishes highlighting the Italian-American classics. Begin with their succulent coal-fired chicken wings and light Caprese salad.
Next, be sure to share one of their coal fire pizzas to taste what everyone in town soon will be talking about. Round off your main course with one of their delicious pasta dishes like the orecchiette.
For dessert, we finished with a Nutella-stuffed bombolone and house made gelato which is reason enough alone to visit Anglos.
