Boho Chic With Cloakroom

The weather is getting warmer and the summer is almost here, and you know what that means? It’s almost festival season! Since it’s only a few short weeks until Field Trip in Toronto, we partnered with Cloakroom to bring you not one but two great looks just in time for your next music festival. If you haven’t had the chance to stop by Cloakroom yet, you’re missing out. This cotemporary fashion boutique carries the latest in fashion and accessories that is bound to keep you on trend. Whether you’re shopping online (visit their website HERE) or in store (1177 Yonge Street), carries some of our favourite brands from California and Australia! And the best part? Their motto of seasonless style rings true as you can easily mix and match each piece in store to work in any weather by simply layering them in a chic way.

On June 6-7th, the community music and arts festival Field Trip will be retuning to the Historic Fort York & Garrison Common to bring two days of great programming to the heart of the city!  This year’s headliners will include Alabama Shakes and My Morning Jacket along with  UK pop sensation Marina & The Diamonds, indie favourites The War On Drugs and Father John Misty, Hamilton royalty Arkells, the dark synths of Purity Ring, the alluring R&B of Rhye, hip hop hall of famers De La Soul, the feel good soul of Lee Fields & The Expressions, UK psych upstarts Temples, and many more. So in honour of this great music festival, we’re giving you a sneak peak on what to wear to your next concert.

IMG_0084For day one, I plan to wear my favourite pair of jeans with a comfortable and flowery tank by One by One Teaspoon from Cloakroom. June weather is always unpredictable so wearing an outfit that you can layer is a great option. To keep me guarded from the sun, I picked out a Lovely Bird Hat from Clockroom to give my outfit an added flair!

On day two, I’ll opt for a more feminine look with this airy, floral Free People dress from Cloakroom and my own TOMS sunglasses. This loose fitting boho chic dress is sure to be a festival favourite as it’s lightweight material is perfect for a sunny summers day. I also love the lace detailing on the sleeves and longer length that adds to the versatility of the dress to keep you warm after the sun sets and the bands keep playing!
