If you’re looking for something fun to do during your wedding shower, instead of having a traditional guestbook, why not making a photo scrapbook during the event with all of your friends and family! This is a great activity to not only do during the shower, but if gives the bride some sentimental to take home with her. And even if you’re not the most crafty, making one can be really easy! Here’s how!
1. Pick up a Polaroid Snap Instant Digital Camera for an easy way to take pictures during the party and have them print out instantly. The Polaroid Snap instant digital camera is the perfect blend of nostalgic Polaroid instant photography and modern, digital technology, allowing users to both capture and keep all of the photos but also print photos directly from the camera.
If you want to include some more candid shots, the Polaroid Zip Instant Photoprinter is a pocket-sized device that pairs wirelessly to any smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth 4.0 or NFC and to allow you to instantly edit and print any of your photos as 2×3″ full-color photos that you want to include!
2. Set up a cute photobooth station in the a area of the event for your guest to snap the perfect shot! This can be as easy as having an area with a nice background to take pictures or equipping the area with fun props like this wedding inspired signs from Love Lettering on ETSY.
3. And now it’s time to decorate! Pick up something to keep your guest book in. A journal, photo album or larger scrapbook (the items pictured above from Walmart) with enough pages to store all of your memories. Depending on the layout of your event, an easy way is to set up a small scrapbook station or have some pretty paper, stickers, colourful markers laid out on each table for guests to decorate and personalize their own page. My DIY trick is to use Scotch Expressions Tape to help secure the photos or to add a border or pattern to each page. And the best part? Walmart has a craft section where I found these fun tapes and all of my scrapbooking supplies too!
