Finding The Perfect Athletic Shoe

No matter what your fitness goals may be, it is so important to find the perfect pair of shoes for you depending on the type of athletic activity you do. From running, to cycling to cross training, different shoes provide you with various levels of support and structure to help you preform your best. When looking for the right shoe, it is important to consider what type of workout you will primarily be doing, the frequency of your athletic activity, the shape of your foot (ex: arch height) and how you disperse the weight and pressure while moving.
IMG_0304Today, I’m wearing the new Reebok CrossFit Nano 4.0 which perfectly blends performance, durability and comfort into an ultra lightweight training shoe. Perfect for any workout, this show has improved shock absorption in the forefoot and heel keep you comfortable while giving you the support your need. CrossFit workouts incorporate elements from high-intensity interval training, weightlifting, plyometrics, powerlifting, gymnastics and other exercises. This allows you to easily diversify your fitness regime to incorporate a variety of training elements and give you a comprehensive workout. So it is very important to find a shoe that is adaptable to the different training and give you the foot support you need.

However, if CrossFit training isn’t right for you, there are plenty of other ways to stay fit. Reebok has made picking the perfect shoe for your healthy lifestyle so easy by sorting their products by your “lifestyle” on their website.I truly think they key to becoming strong and  confident in your workout starts with putting your best foot forward. Whether you’re running, walking , training, dancing or in the studio, they have made finding the right shoe for your workout easier by sorting them for you.
IMG_0314It takes three weeks to build or break a habit. Commit to your new fitness routine for at least 21 days this Spring/Summer and you will be amazed to see how after that time it will become integrated into your weekly schedule.  What’s the key to fitness success? Find something that YOU like. Think about which form of activity you like to do, or try something new and stick to it. There are so many fitness options to choose from too. If the traditional gym is not for you, try a spinning, yoga, zumba or pilates class near you. At the end of the day, going to the class is up to you, so you might as well enjoy it!
