Organize your life.

If you’re anything like me, there are always a million things you need to do in a day. The best way to keep track of your time and prioritize what is important is simply my keeping a calendar. By recording the important dates and events that you have coming up, you can better visualize what needs to be done and plan your days accordingly. I find writing down or keeping a calendar in my phone the easiest way to plan my day because then I can visualize what I need to do that day, that week and even that month! Schedules are also a great way to stay motivated and productive throughout the day too! Handy little “To Do” list is always a great way to a running checklist of projects you are working on and things you need to do. Try using the notes app in your phone or downloading one like Evernote help organize your life by breaking down tasks into smaller, more manageable pieces.

Organize your home.

Let’s face it. We all have too much “stuff.” One of the best ways to de-clutter your life is to reduce the amount of mess in your home. This year, find innovative ways to store and organize your life and arrange your belongings based on what you need at that moment. You will be amazed at how Zen your home becomes once all the mess is gone. Need a solution to the lack of storage in city homes, apartments and condos? I love the convenient and affordable storage solution SpaceWays. New to Toronto, this service allows customers to store items in large heavy-duty boxes (delivered for free!) to store at their facility. This is the perfect solution to pack up my seasonal clothes or sporting equipment for a low cost of $6.90/month (with a three month minimum) and returned for a fixed fee. SpaceWays is a flexible alternative to traditional self-storage companies and perfect for students wanting to store their belongings while on exchanges abroad, for young professionals struggling to find a place for their winter clothes and sports equipment and for families unwilling to part with their children’s’ old toys and clothes.
