#GiftGuide: Tech Toys for Kids

Whenever I pick out toys and gifts for my nieces and nephew, I am always looking for a something that they’ll love and involves a bit of learning too. Their mother is a teacher so I get extra brownie points every time I pick out something that incorporates play based learning. And my brother works with computers so teaching them how to use technology early is a-okay in his book. Whether you’re looking for something for Christmas, or a birthday around the corner, here are my top three tech toys your kids should try!

1. HEXBUG® CuddlebotsTM
Or as the two year old likes to call it, her buzzing bee! The HEXBUG is a soft, durable and child safe robo-buddy who’s squishable bodies vibrate and scurry across the floor, instigating playtime, anytime. She loves chasing after the Betty Bumblebee as it scurries in every direction

My niece claims that our dog is her best friend, but sometimes her barking can be a little bit scary for a tiny human. To help her get used to dogs, I gave her a tiny puppy of her own that can jump into her arms like a real puppy! These ultra-smart ultra-small pets are light, sound, and touch sensitive and respond to various commands and prompts for tons of fun play time!

Because all my five year old nephew wants to be is like his dad, this kid friendly smart watch that’s easy to use and packed full of fun. This smart watch allows your little one to take photos (with built-in photo effects and filters), play games and switch up the 3D clock face design to help personalize the look of their watch. There is even more memory on giving you space to have hours of amusement and fun.
