One of the most exciting parts of the Toronto International Film Festival is getting a chance to see the exciting gifting lounges set up all over the city for celebrities to attend. We had a chance to tours three of the many gifting suites at the festival this year and got an insider look at the swag they are giving away this year to the stars at TIFF.
NKPR IT Lounge & Portrait Studio
The IT Lounge has knocked it out of the park again with their 2014 IT Lounge Portrait Studio with Caitlin Cronenberg, in partnership with W Magazine and in support of Artists for Peace and Justice and Best Buddies. The IT Lounge ensured that stars were ready for the close-up from head to toe as they toured the lounge.
Guests are brought through the exquisitely designed lounge by Caspar Haydar Design, the IT Lounge is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the festival. Your first stop is in the beauty lounge where the behind the scenes grooming experts Tweezerman are launching their new line of high class brushes and Goody is keeping your hair festival fresh with the exclusive Spin Pin and Quick Style brushes.
Rudsak, Canada’s leading fashion brands based out of Montreal, has launched their new line of leatherwear that was shown exclusively at the IT Lounge. Guests can also get all the bling they need from Christian Rex, a Spanish designer creating edgy rock and roll designs. Stars will put their best foot forward with Yo Sox keeping your feet fashionable and fun for the festival!
The last room is the perfect place to relax with the soothing aromas of Saje essential oil remedies and the fun full flavours of David’s Tea featuring my personal favourite the Pumpkin Cheesecake blend!
Yogen Fruz is offering a sweeter twist to your typical pop-up snack bar this festival season partnering to raise money for Breast Cancer research with the proceeds form their new Pink Velvet flavour, available in stores soon!
Once the shoot wrapped, guests will get to relaxed it in the TD Green Chairs, and were treated to a delicious pasta from Barilla, snacks from Nakd and cocktails from bottlegreen,Tequila Tromba and more.

Back in its 10th year, the Brita-presented Tastemakers is bringing the stars of the silver screen the best Canadian products in style with luxury apparel, coveted accessories and the latest festival must-haves at the Intercontinental Hotel.
Partnering with LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics as their charitable partner, this year they are supporting two local Toronto charities raising awareness for Girls Rock Camp Toronto and the Children’s Peace Theatre and donating 100 per cent of the sale price of Charity Pot Hand and Body Lotion to Grassroots organizations locally and around the world. Celebrities will also sign the giant Charity Pot which will be auctioned off with all proceeds going to partnering philanthropic initiatives.

Set in the suites on the 16th floor of the Fairmount Royal York Hotel, the Bask-It-Style Lounge is an oasis in the heart of downtown Toronto for the elite festival celebrities. Celebrating their 6th Anniversary, Bask-It-Style Lounge puts a twist on traditional gift giving by assembling a variety of innovative products for their celebrity guests.
Bask-It-Style also partnered with Hope4Help and [free-them] to help raise awareness during the festival for these worthy causes.
Next stop on the tour was the Reading Room, a must see for book and tech lovers alike! The Reading Room featured KOBO’s launch their new Aura H20 (a waterproof e-reader device), DK Publishing, Random House and the award winning author Adrienne Kress was there with her novel Outcast published by Diversion Candlewick.
Beauty junkies and fashion addicts marvelled in the new collection from Mary Kay showcasing women’s and men’s beauty trends for the fall. Studio 1098 is creating custom jewelry designs at the lounge to add the perfect sparkle to any red carpet look.
And last, but defiantly not least was the tasting room filled with The Craft Brand Beer Company‘s expert guidance on some of the most innovative beers on the market, Toronto’s very own Brickworks Cider and for the healthier guests, Nature’s Touch Frozen Smoothie blends.
