“Long Weekend Essentials” as seen on Rogers Daytime

Today, I dropped by Rogers Daytime Ottawa to share my tips on what you should be packing for your long weekend  Labour Day trip! According to a Choice Hotels Canada™ survey, 47% of Canadians say their families find them the most fun while travelling on summer vacation. Having fun as a family is a great way to bring you and your kids together and strengthen family ties. During this segment, I shared my travel essentials that I bring with me when travelling on the road.

It is no surprise that Canadians love to see and do new things when they travel. For all of you looking to save a little money while on the road, head over to eBay Canada, the world’s most vibrant marketplace, offering great value and selection. With over 800 million listings at any given time, it’s easy for you to find new gadgets and accessories for your upcoming family vacation

Here are some of my #MustHaves on the road:

Stay hydrated this summer with vitaminwater‘s new SHINE flavour that is refreshing and made with vitamin D which is vital for the absorption of calcium and phosphorus, which aids in the maintenance of healthy bones and teeth.

Whether I am travelling for a weekend, or just on a day trip, this Roots 73 duffle bag is a chic option to keep all of my essentials close by.
Look chic and do good with TOMS Harlan Sherry Crystal sunglasses. With every pair of eyewear you purchase, TOMS will help give sight to a person in need. One for One®.
When you’re on the road, no one has time to iron or steam clothing. That’s why I love Sympli‘s investment pieces made of incredibly durable, easy-care jersey that doesn’t wrinkle.
Designed in London, these Olivia Burton (available at Holt Renfrew) watches are a stylish way to keep on track while you’re sightseeing.
I never leave the house without a denim shirt like this one by Levi’s from Over the Rainbow which is perfect for layering.
And a cute Lacoste baseball cap to keep me sheltered from the sun!
While travelling, trèStiQue has quickly become an essential in my beauty routine as they offer a range of products in a compact crayon format that won’t spill while you’re on the road.
I also love bareMinerals BAREPRO performance wear powder foundation in a sleek compact offering full coverage foundation.
For my skin, the VICHY Eau Thermale Mineralisante is a great way to refresh and revitalize your skin while the SKINCeuticals Physical Matte UV defense sunscreen (SPF 50) is perfect for those sunny summer days.
