Since 1972, Veuve Clicquot has been celebrating trailblazing leaders from around world through its Business Women Award initiative.The annual Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award champions the success of business women worldwide who share the same qualities as Madame Clicquot: Her enterprising spirit, her courage and the determination necessary to accomplish her aims.
In recent years, the New Generation Award, celebrating emerging female talent, between the ages of 25-35 years old, has been included to inspire conversations around collaboration and empowerment within the entrepreneurial community for young women. Help recognize an inspiration women in your business network by nominating them for these prestigious awards. he Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award is now awarded in 27 countries. In the Canada, the award celebrates the best of Canadian female talent in business. Previous winners includes; Jeannine Guillevin Wood (1984), Lise Watier (1986), Suzanne Bernard (1988), Christiane Germain (2013) and Cora Tsouflidou (2014).
This year, the call for nominations closes on July 15th 2016 with one candidate per category, from each province (BC, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec*), will be selected and invited to a Veuve Clicquot event in Toronto, where the winner for each category will be announced. Award recipients will be selected among Canada- wide candidates registered or nominated by professional colleagues, teachers, relatives and friends. Veuve Clicquot invites business women to register or the public to nominate individuals that demonstrate a fearless and determined approach to business, lead by great example and encourage their communities to think differently.
