Steps away from Queen St. West and University Avenue, Nota Bene has quickly become one of my new favourite spots for grabbing a drink after work. With their extensive wine, cocktail and spirit menu, swing by for a drink and indulge in their tapas menu. With an array of bite sized dishes that are perfect for an afternoon snack, to only pick one dish to recommend to you would be too tough. Featuring both locally sourced and exotically inspired dishes, happy hour in Toronto has never been so tasty. Under the direction of executive chef David Lee, drop by Nota Bene for a quick snack after work from 4:00-7:00 pm or indulge in a delicious meal.
CUMBRAE FARMS CHEESEBURGER
Just in time for the Toronto International Film Festival, Nota Bene will be hosting their brand new Ceviche Bar, exclusive for the month of September and just in time for festival! Chef Lee and team will be creating three ceviche dishes: Ceviche Classico – Hamachi ceviche, lime, chilies, coconut and coriander; Ceviche Yucateco – Cuban shrimp and calamari ceviche, Thai basil and peach; and Ceviche Ostras Al Aguachile – oyster ceviche, Serrano chilies and tomatillo made with freshly shucked oysters. Indulge in all three, a tapas-sized option of one or a la carte as an appetizer.
