The first ever Toronto FOOD & WINE Festival is coming to Evergreen Brickworks from September 18 to 20, 2015. Bringing together some of the best culinary talents from all across the continent, this three day long weekend festival will showcase the best in food and wine, beer, spirits and other beverages with 130 vendors all in one area. With only one month to go, I’ve decided to share with you my top three reasons why I am so excited for this festival!
1. The Celebrity Chefs
With such big names as Curtis Stone, Tyler Florence, Gail Simmons, Chuck Hughes, Roger Mooking, Mark McEwan, Antonio Park and many more joining the Toronto Food & Wine Festival, we can help but get excited to see their demos, talks and workshops that are being planned over the thee-day event on the Miele Celebrity Stage and the Executive Chef Series presented by Cuisinart.
2. The Flavours of Ontario
We are so lucky to live in a province that is home to so many amazing makers premium food and beverages. The Grand Tasting Pavilion presented by PC will be home to 130 vendors. From the vineyards in the Niagara region to local Toronto restaurants, this is defiantly an event that it is better to come to hungry.
3. The Interactive Workshops
Refine your culinary craft by signing up for expert-level education workshops with such master chefs as Kevin Kent (Knifewear), Tetsuya “Ted” Iizuka (Soba Canada), and Antonio Park (Park Restaurant) who will be teaching their techniques onsite to you presented by Terroir, the exclusive not-for-profit committee of industry professionals, innovators and influencers.
