Growing up in Oakville, Square One was always the mall we begged our mom’s to take us shopping as it was always filled with the latest fashions and best stores. And over the years, this mall has continued to evolve and change to remain up to date with the latest fashion trends. Today, Square One is launching their Canadian Concept Store curated by celebrity stylist Leslie Fremmer to hand select amazing pieces from some of the best names in Canadian fashion design. “I spend a lot of time sourcing the market for exciting brands and when I was approached for this project with Square One, it was a special opportunity to work with some of Canada’s best fashion talent while sharing my knowledge of the industry,” says Fremar. “I am lucky to be in a place in my career where I am able to only take on jobs that I am passionate about and that I can really focus on.”
Square One Concept Store designers include the very talented Alan Anderson, Beaufille, Christopher Bates, ela, Erin Kleinberg, Greta Constantine, John & Jenn, LINE Knitwear, Outclass, Sid Neigum and Stephan Caras.
This store is such an exciting development in the Canadian fashion industry bringing together designers from various styles and disciplines into one unique room. The space was designed by the lifestyle and décor expert Caspar Haydar to use raw materials to create a stylish space perfect for shopping. Each designer is showcased in their own display area to create a unique retail experience for customers along with a fashion image gallery, a mannequin army and a workspace for designers.
The store will open on Wednesday, May 27th until Saturday, June 20th hosting a number of programming activities during the four weeks giving you exclusive access to some of the industries most influential players.
