Whether you are planning a vacation to escape the winter weather or travelling for work, keeping up your fitness resolutions while you’re away can be easier than you think. The trick is to find fitness opportunities while you travel to keep you in shape while you’re on the road. Today, I’m sharing my tips and tricks on how to keep up healthy habits while you’re abroad.
Make your travel destination your gym.
An easy way to integrate fitness into your travel routine is to figure out ways to stay active while you are touring the destination. Use your love for exploring to help clock in those extra miles while travelling. Whether you are strolling around the terminal during your layover or going on a walking tour, add cardio into your everyday schedule by walking and moving more. One of the easiest ways to stay fit while travelling is to take up running. It is a great form of cardio because you can do it almost anywhere and the only equipment you really need is a supportive pair of shoes, fitness clothes and a supportive bra.
I always pack my Anita Maximum Support sports bra that to wear under all of my fitness attire to help me clock in those extra miles while I am away. This high impact sport bra has three-section, tailored cups with a crescent-shaped side support create a very attractive bust shape and provide maximum support and is made from highly functional piqué fabric with functional toweling keeps your skin dry.
Maintain your healthy eating habits.
If you’re craving a snack when you’re on the road, it is important to opt for something healthier instead a sweet treat. Bring healthy snacks along with you to help tide you over when you’re on the go. I never leave the house without packing a few healthy breakfast or snack options while you’re in transit. This is also great to have as an option to avoid the unhealthy and expensive options while eating in the airport or on the plane.
Stock up on the perfect activewear before your trip that are not only stylish but are functional pieces to pack with you when you are travelling that will stretch and move with you. Mix and match pieces that are made of lightweight, and comfortable materials that pack well.
