Summer Date Nights that Won’t Break the Bank

Date nights can get expensive real quick and if you are anything like me I run on a tight budget these days and getting creative on small change can be difficult. This summer I put together a list of some date night ideas that won’t hurt your bank account and can be quite a bit of fun around the Toronto area!

  1. Head to the 5-Drive In in Oakville
  2. Go to your local Flea Market or take a drive up to the 400 Flea Market & Antique Market
  3. Spend the night in a Hotel and let room service take care of you! Opt for a hotel outside of the downtown core to save a few bucks!
  4. Get a couples massage! Check out some great deals on Groupon so you don’t break the bank!
  5. Have your very own Night at the Museum and enjoy Summer Fridays at the ROM with discounted admission, live performances and cocktails as you roam through the galleries.
  6. Paint Night! You do not have to be a modern day picasso to pick up a paint brush and have a lot of fun! With so many events around you are bound to find a local bar or cafe that offers their own version of a paint night! Bonus Points: Paint Cabin has Glow in the Dark Painting parties on the last Friday of each month!
  7. Pool Hall + Pizza! This classic combination is sure to be a lot of fun whether or not your are a pool shark!
  8. Netflix & Chill! Although, a night in is usually synonymous with winter nights spend a night in and make some margaritas while you watch a flick!
  9. Lakeshore & Picnic – Lake Ontario can be absolutely gorgeous so take advantage of the good weather and bring some snacks to the lake while you watch the boats go by.
  10. Cooking Classes can get expensive so why not try to have a Pizza making competition at home!
