On May 4th, 2015, the Toronto Fashion Incubator will be presenting some of the best emerging talent in the Canadian fashion industry at the TFI New Labels® 2015. Announcing their four semifinalists, the designers will have the chance for their designs to be presented down the runway during an evening of cocktails, fashion and fundraising. The winning designer will be awarded $25,000 (generously donated by Suzanne Rogers) for Most Promising New Label, presented by Suzanne Rogers, and a full-page feature in FLARE.
This year’s elite panel of judges will include David Dixon (President, David Dixon Inc., and former TFI New Labels® finalist), Suzanne Rogers (Philanthropist and benefactor of the Most Promising New Labels Award), Suzanne Timmins (senior vice president and fashion director for Hudson’s Bay and Lord & Taylor) and Cameron Williamson (Editor-in-chief of FLARE).

“Jennifer Torosian creates sleek and tailored aesthetics with fine detail, blending clean lines with elements of surprise. Founded by Jennifer Torosian and Raed Ali, the brand has developed a celebrity roster, including actor Kim Cattrall.”
Benji Wong Zhen Wang for Benji WZW
“High-end streetwear brand Benji WZW combines street tribalism with a narrative sensitivity. Favoured by music superstar Lady Gaga, the line balances power and sensuality, the ugly and the beautiful.”
Ticket sales for this event will go to help benefit the Toronto Fashion Incubator, a non-profit, community-based, small business centre that provides critical support to fashion entrepreneurs. The Toronto Fashion Incubator has been a hub for Canadian fashion designers and entrepreneurs since 1987. Providing support and nurturing creative entrepreneurs by helping them develop their business skills, the Toronto Fashion Incubator’s work within the fashion industry has been highly acclaimed for their work in advancing the industry.
