Need Inspiration for your Wedding Guest Style? We’ve got you covered. If your summer is shaping out to be like mine then you definitely have a lot of weddings to attend. Each year I find it harder to find great wedding guest outfits or inspiration. With the help of some of my favourite stores, I was able to pull 5 great looks for this seasons upcoming nuptials.
Look 1: I was first inspired by Ted Baker’s Maari Pleated Skirt. The skirt is really where the outfit started, since the skirt is very feminine I decided to pair it with a sequin cami to add some sparkle. To complete the outfit I really wanted to incorporate rose gold elements since it is one of my favourite shades of jewellery and would really compliment this whole look. Pulling the whole look together with polished nails and toes by Ceramic Glaze.

Earrings: Hillberg & Berk
Bracelet: Hillberg & Berk

Look 2: For a slightly more casual approach to wedding guest style I was inspired by the Helvi Dress from Club Monaco. With a non-traditional print and a slightly traditional silhouette I felt that this would be the perfect outfit for an outdoor summer wedding. I would pair this dress with a more structured belt and accessories however I would mix my metals because there is no need to match everything. Keeping with the non-traditional tone I would paint my nails in Ceramic Glaze’s Pineapple Breeze & Blueberry Bubblegum.

Look 3: Some women feel more comfortable in trousers, and I am one of those girls. Although I do appreciate a beautiful dress and I do love dressing up in one. Sometimes the comfort of my slacks is all I need to get me through a long day. This look was inspired by that idea, and I worked around Club Monaco’s Ali Crop Pant. Paired with a more feminine blouse in a luxurious shade. I opted for this season’s skin trend for shoes with a touch of snakeskin in the purse. Of course I couldn’t resist adding a touch of rose gold to pair with a darker polish from Ceramic Glaze.

Look 4: For a more formal wedding Le Chateau has your covered. Their beaded halter Georgette gown is not only glamourous but forgiving. Paired with a shimmer ankle shoe from Ted Baker and gun metal accessories I thought a bright purse would be the final touch. In this case I matched the polish to the purse pulling the vibrant pinks and purples to complete the look

Look 5: Who doesn’t love looking effortlessly cool? To round out the outfits I really wanted to mix femininity with glamour. I opted for a more neutral blush tank paired with a structured pencil skirt from Ted Baker. Bringing in shimmer and statement in the accessories was this look is all about. And that pretty mani? I didn’t forget, I really love Ceramic Glaze’s Strawberries n’ Milk and Tuscan Blush for this outfit. They are cooler colours and really let that Ted Baker skirt really stand out.
