Winter 2017 Workshops!

As usual I love to round up my top picks for workshops each season. I love the non-commitment of workshops and getting to try something new. This season I really want to focus on some new workshops that not only bring out my creative side but also speak to me about wellness.

November 18th  – Floral Arrangment Workshop at Stok Floral

Join the ladies at Stok Floral for an afternoon of playing with flowers and making your own sweet arrangement!

November 18th – KITCHEN WITCH: HERBAL OILS + OINTMENTS at Rowan Homespun

Rowan Homespun is always one of my favourite places to go to for unique workshops, local herbalist Danette Steele will instruct on how to make topical remedies and skin care tips to help get through the winter.

December 2nd – Greeting Cards Workshop at Franklin Carmichael Art Centre

Want to make your own cards this holiday season? Join local artist Nancy Buckingham as she guides participants through making their own holiday cards using watercolours. No formal training required, this one is great for newbies!

January 29th –  Macrame Plant Hanger w/ Indie Boho Studio

Learn a variety of knotting techniques to make your own macrame plant hanger. This on trend decor item is a must have!

Anytime – Mosaic Workshop at Glass Mosaic Canada

In this two hour workshop you have the option of making a coaster, frame, or freestyle canvas with mosaic tiles, glass, pebbles, stones, and other miscellaneous items. My friends and I took a workshop here a few years back and it was SO much fun and we have been meaning to make plans to go back!
